Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that improves the appearance of a double chin (submental fullness).
Kybella uses synthetic deoxycholic acid to attack and destroy excessive fat cells beneath the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat.
This is dependent on the results desired. When you meet with one of our injectors, they can work up a treatment plan to meet your goals.
Kybella treatments are considered extremely long-lasting because the destroyed fat cells cannot store or accumulate more fat. Once you achieve your desired aesthetic, further follow-up sessions should not be required.
Kybella is approved for adults 18 years or older who want to improve the appearance of moderate to severe fat below the chin. When you meet with one of our injectors, they will discuss your goals and your medical to make the final determination.
The entire procedure may take as little as 30 minutes to an hour. The injection part of the procedure takes only about 10-15 minutes.
Kybella requires no downtime or recovery period. You may have mild redness or swelling following treatment, but this typically fades within a few days.
